The crash involved four cars. The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. near York Blvd. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the two critically injured victims were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims had to be extricated from a vehicle by emergency responders.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

If you have been injured in a multi-vehicle accident, you should seek the advice of a car accident lawyer. Often, you will not learn the identity of the other drivers or their insurance companies until the CHP report is ready, which can take about ten days. Until then, if you have collision coverage under your own auto insurance policy, you can go through your insurance on your property damage claim, then get reimbursed on your deductible later.

A personal injury attorney can assist you in getting medical treatment on a lien basis, if you do not have health insurance or cannot afford the co-pays.
