Angeles National Forest Crash Kills 1

A person was killed today when the vehicle they were in went off a cliff in the Angeles National Forest in Santa Clarita today.

The accident happened about 2:05 p.m. near the intersection of Sierra Hwy. and Rowher Canyon Rd.

A Jeep with two occupants were over the side of the cliff. One occupant, a female, was killed. The other occudpant, a male, was transported to an Antelope Valley hospital with unknown injuries. The Jeep reportedly drove off a truck trail and plunged into the canyon, approximately 1,500 feet down. The identity of the accident victims and the cause of the crash has not been reported.
